Winter weather advisories have been posted in ALL of Delaware for at least a twelve hour period beginning around 10-11pm tonight through noon tomorrow. Now, this is NOT a blockbuster snow event, but in a way, it’s worse than that because we are going to have snow, followed by a period of freezing rain, to just PURE rain. Yet, road conditions will be very slick. Like I’ve said in previous posts, do your Christmas shopping late Saturday. Sleep in. Relax. No need to get into an accident. I gave you how I think the storm will pan out in my previous post yesterday evening. Generally, this is one to two inches for northern NCC . Points south of Route 1 down to Dover will see up to an inch of snow. Down the beaches expect a coating to almost nothing. You will see more of a mix and rain. Again, use your senses. Don’t drive in this weather unless ABSOLUTE emergencies.
Have a good day!
