Why not? It’s still February but from the looks of it winter is pretty much over with so why not look forward to our “favorite” season: SUMMER 2018!
It’s looking like a scorcher. I’m not great at the long term, but from the looks of it from a daily look at it, the trend has been pointing to plenty of sweating, sun, and of course, FUN!
Here is the breakdown:
June looks like a warm start with the main heat concentrated in the southwest. Big bulges in the atmosphere will slowly bring the heat to the east. Temperatures look to be +1 or +2 above normal. Sounds like a good start down at the Delaware beaches. Precipitation looks to be about normal to below normal slightly.
July looks extra toasty. The heat arrives in kind. Ridges start to bring up the heat in the east. Get the grills ready! Fourth of July looks to be smoking. Again, no major + or – with precipitation. Looking dry, again!
August looks to be warm and wet. The humidity comes steaming up from the south. Probably, with a fair amount of precipitation too. It looks dry out west. Hopefully, the fires out there are not as bad, but it doesn’t look good now. Get your vacations in now! We know nobody is around Delaware in August. Everyone is down the beaches. Precipitation looks to be about normal for August.
